Homag Sawtek Model Optimat CHF 325 $55,000.00

Homag SawTech Panel Saw,

Model Optimat CHF 325

Manufactured 2004.

Automatic panel sizing specifically designed for stack cutting and single sheet cutting as required.

The Profiline CHF 325 allows one-man operation for chip-free ripping and crosscutting of all types of materials.

Full-color Graphics Controller
The controller offers easy-to-use, menu-guided, full-color graphics, allowing the saw operator to follow the cutting patterns visually. This controller is a PC (Personal Computer), with WINDOWS 2000®, at 1,2 GHz/256 Kb, and comes with 128 Mb RAM, a 20 Gb Hard Disk Drive, 3-1/2" Floppy Disk Drive, CD-ROM x 48, an Ethernet card, 56 kb modem, PC-Connectivity software, 15" color monitor, optical mouse and standard keyboard.  In addition, there is an on-board basic optimizer "Easy-Cut".   "Easy-Cut" will allow the operator to optimize up to 15 pieces from 3 different materials. This controller also offers the possibility to link to 3rd party Optimizing software, as well as to an optional label printer.

Electronic Program Fence
The Program Fence is equipped with (6) six pneumatic clamps for automatic positioning and advance of the panels as they are cut. Additional clamps can be added if desired.

The Program Fence is mounted on both sides with hardened round steel bars acting as the weight-bearing surface and guidance system. The Program Fence uses center-mounted Servo Motor and dual rack and pinion drive for smooth movement. Contact-free magnetic measuring unit is impervious to dust, and friction free, which eliminates wear and assures continued precision and accuracy.

Rear support table is equipped with roller rails supports for safe and easy movement of the workpiece.

Saw Carriage
The "Silent Drive" system allows the saw carriage to move at high speed, virtually silent and without vibration.  The saw carriage is guided on hardened round steel bars via carriage rollers allowing the saw unit to travel completely parallel to the cutting line, thus avoiding chip-out from above.  Vertical alignment of dual guideways eliminates vibration. The saw carriage is balanced as a whole unit to assure continuous precision. Guidance system is maintenance-free. Cutting direction is towards the fence.

Automatic Cutting Height Regulation
Automatic cutting height adjustable in 5 mm increments (minimum 5 mm, maximum 60 mm). Sawblade heights are identified automatically by sensors at the pressure beam, to provide the most efficient height of cutting based on size of cutting stack.  Programmed grooving setting is also available, maximum grooving depth of 30 mm.

Electronic Saw Carriage Speed
The saw carriage speed is easily adjusted via software. Use of electronic inverter allows instant and smooth changes of carriage speed from 0 to 197 FPM (0 to 60 M/min).  Return speed is fixed at 197 FPM (60 M/min).

Saw Blades Mounting
Main and Scoring saw blade changing is easy via the large access door with safety interlock. The Power-Lock quick-change system facilitates fast saw blade changes.

Scoring Blade
Scoring blade alignment for parallelity and height are adjusted simply and easily from outside the machine. Scoring blade can be disengaged at the controller.

Pneumatic Pressure Beam
The pneumatic torsion-free pressure beam holds panels firmly in place and features cut outs in the beam for minimum last cuts of 30 mm or 1.18" with the clamps in place and one (1) more cut after the clamps open and back-out.

Automatic Cutting Length
A fully automatic material cutting length feature is standard equipment.  An optic sensing device indicates when the saw carriage is through the cut, and signals the saw carriage to stop and return for the next cutting cycle.  Programming is not required.  This feature allows for the most efficient cutting cycle time.

Air Flotation Support Tables
Three (3) large air tables with soft – coated front loading rollers are standard equipment.  Each air table measures 23" x 72" (600 mm x 1830 mm) and is individually selectable. A single high volume air blower feeds the three tables, and provides ease of heavy material movement.

Automatic Side Alignment Device

The “All New Automatic Side Aligner” is integrated within the saw carriage.  This new design reduces side aligner cycle time by as much as 30%.  The side aligner travels with the saw carriage and indexes the workpiece at the cutting line.  No need to pre position.  The working range is 50 to 2500 mm.

Additional Features
UL listed component, Power Stabilizer, CE (European safety standards) approved. Clear plastic laminate shields. Pressure Beam safety bar. 2 emergency stops on the front of the machine. Saw carriage enclosure hood lock with timer. Large safety covers located on side and back of the machine.
